She has finished her two fried eggs. And I my chicken burger. She has relaxed. Me too. Judith smiles. So did I. Her features have softened. Mirroring my own. I place a period at the end of a sentence. We are tired. Talked about are mutual fatigue. I have a doctors appointment at 1:15. The train stops. We have run out of things to say. We look into each others eyes silently. Hers are brown. Mine are blue.

We are here. We are one Holding The Blessed tensions of separation. This tensegrity sphere is a beautiful metaphor for lightness of spirit. Held together by wire (tension) and struts (compression), the bigger the sphere gets the lighter and stronger it becomes. Because the spheres strength lies in lightness when it is dropped it will bounce and not shatter. Use it in meditation as a structure that surrounds your heart. Your heart can then be experienced as both open and protected.

fallow packing sheds sleep under spring blossoms. clouds in the distance shorn of tears having recently wept on hardened moonscape dirt. it’s morning. forget me not pebbles shiver within their curved orbit around a distant sun. the fallow shed waits for the caress of falling blossoms.
