The billboards throughout Hollywood this time of year are “For Your Consideration” billboards. Using excessive adverbs and film critic quotes from magazines and on-line sites one has never heard of before, these billboards dominate the major streets.
This was the “slap in the face” reality that morning. The torn billboard canvas shows the strength of the Santa Ana winds that moved the fires. Black smoke darkens the clouds that filled the skies.
A city rendered impotent…
